Please note we are aware not everyone will wish to join in with the thematic content. If this is the case for you we totally respect that, please proceed to the part entitled REWARD SECTION - where it is clear what all this means. For those that wish to participate please read the STORY SECTION first.

 STORY SECTION

YOU HAVE NOW USED YOUR HELPING HANDS TALENT AND WEAPON TALENT, YOU ONLY HAVE THE ARCANE THEORY TALENT REMAINING

You incant the words you learned from that Newcomer sympathiser (a story for another time ) and before you appear one, two then three ghostly hands. The Mortlick is baffled and stares with a low cunning fascinated by the light. It becomes wary and raises its tail aggressively, that horrible mouth begins to open and...

Slappety, slap, slap, slap

The many hands pummel the Mortlick into submission; it falls off its favoured perch into the water below, dazed but not dead, you can see it is trying to figure out what just happened to it.

Now that you can get a better look at the creature you see that it the tail looks very nasty indeed. The creature is beginning to come back to its senses, given the exertion of the Helping Hands spell you think it best to move on and return to the crossroads.

You now follow the running water carefully as the tunnel leads you onwards into the darkness, the sound of running water gets louder until you eventually reach an overflow spill. Clambering up the overflow spill you enter a circular basin, water feeds in from high in the opposite wall and flows round this area and out of the overflow.

In the centre of the room you find a deep well. As you peer down into the murky depths it pleads with you:

"I hunger for the taste of battle stranger. Feed me something to my taste and I will reward you."

Your remaining Talent Arcane Theory can be used to either:

Add a bonus to a Solve test or create light.

WHAT NEXT

Will you?

A - Use Arcane theory to create light and look down the well, throwing down your staff if you see no danger

B - Throw down your staff into the darkness of the well

C - Leave this place

REWARD SECTION

You have just unlocked:

A new Discovery - the Wishing Well

A new Location - this card you are exploring will be yours!  You can use it with either the Weeping Caves or the Great Sewer of Dun Mordhain Environments.  If you wish you could use it to link the Caves and Sewers and create a Multi Environment Giant Adventure (MEGA) game.

Please note the Discovery card still requires final art and tweaked graphic design, however here it is for you now in its current form.

The Location Card will be revealed at the end of the Quest!

Thank you and onwards!
